Lionyls @ Irene’s
Ottawa band, the Lionyls, played Irene’s in the heart of the Glebe. The Ottawa fan favourites got funky playing their tunes from previous albums. Treating the audience with new music that is in the works, currently in the recording process. Exciting the crowd with upbeat, catchy, and sing a long songs yet to be shared with the rest of the universe. Playing with core members and some new additions, the band filled the soul with music to sway, bob, and reminisce on. Finishing with an iconic cover of Purple Rain, there was not a single person in the venue who did not give their undivided attention to the band by the end of the night. The Lionyls showed us what they’re all about. A night with variety, new members, and new music.
